I like to get excited about things, sometimes – It’s fun! And neat when something works out the way it is supposed to. And wouldn’t you know it was good timing on selling the Kindle – Amazon lowered the price on new Kindles by $70 yesterday. Good thing I took decisive action!

Just don’t go selling a camera to get one!

Hey Alicia,
Sure! And you can take a look at what I have so far, if you want. Or ask the girls what they think . . . I think they still really like it. Claire now says her favorite subject is history. We just started our second unit, and so far, so good!

I was thinking I’d like to do a more detailed post about it, now that we’ve been actually using it a while. Thanks for reminding me!

I’m interested in learning more about this curriculum, I wasn’t completely happy with the Mystery of History this year, I’d love to talk to you about the Tapestry of Grace. Remind me next time I see you in case I forget. I’ve been checking out their website but thought you might have more input.

Thanks for bringing up a point I had neglected – one handed (or hands-free) reading! I get to laugh at my darling husband trying to hold his book open while he eats dinner! I just plop the Kindle on the table and read away. (Do have to take a little care not to drip pasta sauce on it, but it wipes up pretty well – better than most books, anyway!)

hi! i liked your post about ereaders/kindle–and wanted to say i’ve done more reading since getting teh kindle app for my black berry than i have in a long time! i’ve preread one of my 12yo DD’s upcoming TOG literature books and am prereading another one! all because i can merely click a little button on my BB to forward a page turn, all my nursing our baby!

anyhoo.. i went to go click on the link to see the list of lings to free books you’ve found useful for homeschooling but that link seems to go to some other post’s comment page. just FYI..

Thank you for the multiplication printables!! They are great and my daughter needs the visual stimulation to help with her learning.
