Corrections – Mosaic Intro to World History, Part 1: Myths, Maps, and Marvels

This page lists errors that have been found in the Mosaic Introduction to World History Part 1, pending the release of a newer revision. I’m depending on users to let me know if you find any additional errors, bad links, etc! You can always email me at april@bringinguplearners.com with any corrections, questions, comments, or suggestions.

  • Myths, Maps, and Marvels – All downloadable versions omitted Mrs. Piggle Wiggle from the resources list in the literature section.  This has now been corrected on the online resource list, but the downloads still have this error.
  • Myths, Maps, and Marvels – Both versions that include prehistory have a link to a volcano paper craft that is no longer available. Luckily, I was able to locate another similar project: Click here for another paper model volcano craft.
  • Myths, Maps, and Marvels – All versions – Week 1, day 3 includes a link to an Asian folk tale.  The link in the manual has given some of us problems accessing the story, and I have found that the following link works better: http://web-jpn.org/kidsweb/folk/warashibe/index.html.
  • Myths, Maps, and Marvels – Prehistory versions – Week 3 includes a link to papercraft dinosaur projects.  The specific ones mentioned are no longer available, but there is still a large selection of individual dinosaurs papercraft projects available at this link.  Let your child pick out his or her favorite!
  • Mosaic Introduction to Timelines – Please note that there is a typo in the section where I discuss creating a time scroll of your own.  There is no “Year 0″! – The years progress from 1 BC directly to 1 AD.

Enjoy!
