Bringing Up Learners Privacy Policy

Your personal privacy is of utmost concern to our family!  We do not collect any personally identifiable information (names, addresses, phone numbers, financial information, etc) unless we specifically tell you in advance, and even then, we would only do so in order to provide you with services that you specifically request!  We would never share any of your personal information with outside parties, unless it is needed in order to fulfill your exact request.  (For example, your email address would be provided to our newsletter distributor if you request a copy of our newsletter.)  You can always cancel a requested newsletter or other service at any time you like.

Our website analytics program collects only information that helps us bring you a better website.  For example, it tracks which web browsers are used most frequently, what pages are visited, and in what order the pages are clicked on by visitors.  It also tells us what sites refer visitors to us, and what parts of the world our visitors live in.  We have no way of knowing who, exactly, clicks on what, as the statistics are anonymous.

We provide all our content free of charge, and recoup our investment of time and energy (okay, mostly April’s investment of time and energy, at this point!) by providing certain tasteful advertisements on this site.  The advertisements are what make it possible for us to provide the free resources and content on this website, and many of our users find them extremely helpful for locating information on additional resources.

We depend on third parties such as Google to serve appropriate ads on our site, and they may collect similar non-personally-identifying information to help them track and administer their ads.  Statistics software used by this website and our affiliates may use resources such as cookies and web beacons to help them track the success of their advertisements and identify what advertisements would be more helpful to you.  Your browser most likely is set up to accept these cookies by default, but if you prefer you may set your browser to either decline cookies altogether or notify you before accepting them.  You should note that if you do not accept cookies, functions on many websites, such as shopping carts and other features may not work.  My own browsers are definitely set to accept them at the websites I visit- these are the only cookies I know of that cause absolutely no weight gain whatsoever!  (Who came up with that term, anyway?)

If you, at any time, have any questions about these or any of our other policies or information, please feel free to dash off an email!
